Event Information

Brüegala is a festival of international beer, boasting more than 200 brews from near and far. This event, held each September by the Bloomington-Normal Jaycees, is celebrating its 8th anniversary.

Each year, the festival draws larger and larger crowds of cheerful beer lovers from across the Midwest. Every attendee receives a souvenir tasting glass, along with access to great beers, live music and event merchandise.

Admission Tickets:

Single and Two-Day tickets are available for purchase in advance for discounted prices.
Tickets may also be purchased at the door for full price.

  • Single Day - $10 (Advance - $8)
  • Two Day - $15 (Advance - $13)

Beer Sample Packages:

A ticket system will be used to purchase beer samples. One ticket equals one sample. Beer sample tickets will be available at the event only.

All attendees must be 21 years of age with a valid I.D. to enter the event.

Bags Tournament

The Bloomington-Normal Jaycees is hosting the second annual bag tournament for adults 21 years or older at 5:30pm Saturday September 6 at Brüegala. Teams may register inside Brüegala at the ticket table, up until the tournament begins. The first bag to be thrown at 5:30; single elimination tourney. Prizes will be given to the top 2 teams.

Are you an aspiring beer baron?

Enter your own beer in the Homebrewers' Showcase.

Along with billions of fascinating beers from around the globe, the Bruegala will also feature beers created by local, home-based masters of the brewing arts.

Submit your home brew for the chance to be worshipped (or ridiculed) by the beer-drinking masses by contacting Chad at bevoduz@gmail.com. Submissions are accepted either bottled or kegged.

The public will be voting on their favorite home brew, so bring only your finest creation.
